GMM: So tell us a bit about yourself:

Caring, sensible, loyal, confident, and loving; I am an Aquarius! I would say that I am very stubborn at time, especially when it comes to solving a problem. I will not stop until I solve my conflict and I put others before myself in any given situation. My best asset would be my smile, but I get a lot of compliments on my eyes too. I work for a health and wellness company, model, and I am also a full time Chemistry Major at Los Angeles Pierce College. Originally I’m from Raton, NM and I’m a mix ofFilipino, Hawaiian, and Italian.

Tell us about your modeling career?

I love the constant attention; I love all eyes on me. It helps me concentrate and not want to mess up! Shooting glamor, fashion nude, and beauty are my favorite. I got started into modeling when I was about 15 years old. I started as a county fair queen model in a little place called Springer, NM. I would do photo shoots with other rodeo queen’s as well as solo with my horses on my family ranch.

I enjoy meeting new people as well as seeing everything fall into place in the end. I love seeing my pictures before and after they are edited, I believe that this helps me becoming a better model seeing my flaws and highlights. I love being able to look at old pictures and see how far I have come in a short amount of time.

The funniest thing that has ever happened to me at a photo shoot was when I was posing next to the shoreline and a wave coming out of nowhere, taking me out, and my photographer Ryan Smiley laughing at me the entire time! At least I got an awesome picture out of it, so it was totally worth it!

Where do you want your career to be in two years?

In two years, I want my modeling career to really take off. I would want to see pictures on billboards as well as posters and commercials. I want to be able to support my entire family back in New Mexico, so that they no longer have to work. They have been there with me every step of the way and it’s time for me to take care of them.

What are some of your hidden talents other than modeling?

Some hidden talents of mine would be barrel racing. I was a rodeo queen for many years and competed all over New Mexico and Texas in barrel racing for 10 years. I also played volleyball, basketball, and ran track.

Take us through your getting ready to model routine?

My routine before a shoot would be to wake up at least 3 hours before its scheduled start time so I don’t look tired. Make myself a breakfast fruit smoothie to keep me full then get my makeup and hair done, get dressed, and take some amazing pictures. Then when it is all over with EAT! I always eat subway right after a long day of shooting! It’s such a reward!

What is the best info you can give a new model?

The best advice I could give a new model would be to be you. In order to be a successful model you must fall in love with yourself first.
