She has the most incredible personality to match her exterior and as cool as they get. She loves to laugh and is as humble as they come, she doesn’t judge anyone and the list goes on and on. She is currently single and a diamond in the rough and a gold mine wrapped into one. Her modeling career is new but it won’t be for long after this feature publishes. My heart.

My smile.

How did you get started in modeling?

I went to an open casting call for a local fashion show.

No.

What do you enjoy most about modeling?

The Fashion, and the Fashion Shows

What are the top three things you like to shoot?

Very Exotic, dramatic, high fashion clothes, Poses that involve movement and athleticism, and crazy props or products.

Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being a glamour model?

Sometimes

Where do you want your career to be in two years?

Owning my own profitable and successful non-profit business, and building my own brand.

What are some of your hidden talents other than modeling?

I can act, dance, sing, and play musical instruments.

Take us through your getting ready to model routine?

Besides regular hygiene/shaving/grooming, I pick out the shoes I want to bring, and jewelry/accessories. I pack essential hair grooming products, facial wipes, and extra items to touch up my appearance. I grab a coffee, bottle of water, some mints, and am good to go to work!

What is the best info you can give a new model?

When you’re working as a model, just remember your role. Respect the roles of the stylists, and any supervisors. Don’t question or suggest to them a better way to do their job. Maintain an open mind to critiques, but always remember your values, and your personal agenda. Remember that others have an agenda as well. But balance your agenda with humility, reason, kindness, and a willingness to learn; so you don’t come off as a “diva” or “unprofessional” with a “bad attitude.” Steer away from arguing or confrontations with people in the industry, be it: photographers, other models, stylists, etc

As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?

Trying to develop a look for myself, that would distinguish myself from being seen as ‘just another black girl/ model’

If you had to walk away from modeling today, what memory would you take from it?

Humorous memories, and insight as to how to work with different types of people, with difficult attitudes, and knowledge that business can be unforgiving, and many times feels like an uphill battle, but you must continue to strive on, roll through the punches, and not grow weary amidst storms.

If you had to walk away, what would you like to be remembered most for?

Generosity and Compassion.

Besides drive, genuine honesty, and consideration for others: attention to current relevant issues in the world, ambition, and spirituality.

All of the qualities listed above, and an interest in health, fitness and self improvement.

Chest /pectoral.

When it comes to your taste in men, pick one: “the bad boy” or “the nice guy”?

I don’t want a guy who’s rebellious, or unconcerned with how his actions impact others (bad boy)- NOR do I want a guy who’s afraid to address and challenge convention and pop culture, so I say.. neither. I just want a guy who embraces life, is considerate, and is not afraid to be honest with himself and others, and challenge himself. -“the Real guy” – doesn’t fit into preconceived stereo-typical labels.

How does a man keep you interested once he’s caught your attention?

Being respectful, thoughtful, and honest.

How do you show him that he has your attention?

Probably smile and give him a hug.

When it comes to men, what are some of your turn offs?

Bad teeth, bad hair, flabby/fatty upper body, not having table manners, bad hygiene, not washing hands, digging in the nose, dis-respectful comments and behaviors.
