Alyssa is living the dream

GMM: So tell us a bit about yourself:

I’m Alyssa T and I’m a model, and art provocateur. I’m originally from Phoenix, AZ and I’m an exotic mix of Hispanic, American Indian.  My measurements are 32B, 23, 35 and five words to describe me would be: ambitious, bold, girly, goofy, and big-hearted. I’m a Pisces, but I’m not very familiar with Astrological signs so I’m not completely sure what traits I posses. I would say my best asset are definitely my eyes but others compliment me most on how sweet I am. My instagram is here.

Tell us about your modeling career?

I got my start in modeling by joining Model Mayhem and presently I’m not signed by an agency though I aim to be! The thing I love most about modeling is being myself mostly; it’s an emotional outlet for me, as well as a creative and expressive art form

What are the top three things you like to shoot?

dark mood/emotional concepts, fashion, videos.

Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being a glamour model?

I more so enjoy the appreciation of my art and the fact that there are people who are eager to see more of what i’m passionate about and what I will do next is always exciting!

Where do you want your career to be in two years?

I aim to be a full time model, and to have my own team.

Take us through your getting ready to model routine?

I set out a photo shoot day for just prepping and relaxing the entire time before any shoot. That way I can take my time getting ready if i’m the one doing my own HMU. I love listening to music the entire time, and dancing even on the drive.

What is the best info you can give a new model?

Don’t hold back! Give EVERY shoot your all. Eat a good meal before every shoot, snack in between- you’d be surprised how tired you’ll be after a shoot, you’ll have used ALOT of energy! Practice in the mirror, posing, transitioning movements, moving with music. Always remember if you’re not early, you’re already LATE!

As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?

Sticking to what I love and doing what makes me happy no matter who is accepting of it and never letting any ones slightest judgement/ doubt in me, stop me.

If you walked away from modeling right now, how would you like to be remembered?

ALWAYS supporting and motivating others, always reminding them that you CAN live your dream. The world is yours to do what you love. You don’t need anyone’s approval.
