KJ: my best friend model and loved it so much she got me to try it, and i loved it
GMM: Are you signed with an agency?
KJ: no GMM: What do you enjoy most about modeling?
KJ: You get to let yourself go, and get out of your comfort zone
GMM: Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being a glamour model?
KJ: Yes for the most part, i love just being able to express myself in a different way. it shocks most people how open i can be with my modeling.
GMM: Where do you want your career to be in two years?
KJ: I want to be a EMT, for a fire department.
GMM: Take us through your getting ready to model routine?
KJ: Lots of prep time fer sure, there’s first the outfits i want to wear, then there’s make up and hair, but before shoots i have to breathe, get all my nerves out, make sure I’m comfortable, because you can tell in pictures if you feel uncomfortable. i just remind myself its just a body, its my body, and to smile, let go and have fun.
GMM: What is the best info you can give a new model?
KJ: just have fun with it, its scary at first. but i love doing it. seeing yourself through a camera is so beautiful. its like your being captured for the first time. just be yourself, its not rocket science, there’s no right and wrong.
GMM: As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?
KJ: not being tall and anorexic thin. I’m 5’1 with curves. I’m not the normal ideal model, but that has never stopped me. i love the way i look, especially once i start modeling and taking pictures.
GMM: If you had to walk away from modeling today, what memory would you take from it?
KJ: just how much fun i had doing it, knowing i could do modeling and feel great doing it.
GMM: If you had to walk away, what would you like to be remembered most for?
KJ: That i wasn’t afraid to leave my comfort zone, to challenge myself to be more then what i was.
