GMM: How long have you been a photographer?

BR: About 5 years part time on and off for fun, and about 1 year as full-time professional photographer.

GMM: How did you get your start?

BR: I picked up my first camera about 6 years ago when I worked as a line rep in the fashion industry. I was finally able to start my own company last year after my father passed away. I owe everything I am to my Father! Push Play Photography is actually named in honor and in memory of him! I’ve always loved music, (which he of course knew). I also played baseball and was a Pitcher for 14 years, and one day after I had a bad game he told me, “Don’t rewind and dwell on what happened and don’t try to fast forward and rush to get over what happened. Learn from your mistakes, “Push Play” and everything will be alright.”

GMM: Do you like to keep your techniques a secret or do you like to share with others?

BR: I like to keep a few things a secret I guess. I think as a photographer you don’t need to share everything about your artistic and editing process. but most of the questions I get asked about how I edit pictures, lighting I use, etc., I will almost always answer.

In 2013 it was decided that there were very few QUALITY Glamour Model ezines out there. There are plenty of amazing Glamour Model ezines out there, but a lot of them focuses on the "babe" side of it. None that were devioted to learning HOW to be a good glamour model, glamour model photographer, etc. GMM was created to teach model, photographers, makeup artists and agencies, how to interact in our industry and how to do so with a large amount of PRIDE.
